Te Tiriti breaches in light of the Treaty Principle Bills

The wanted attempted by the National-led governments to change the treaty into more "sufficient" and "equal" understandings are completely wrong and idiotic. Te Teriti o te Waitangi should and will remain the same instead of letting a Pakeha man rewrite its values and principles.

Te Teriti o te Waitangi was already broken once as our people were pressured into signing it, thinking it was a fair deal without knowing the incorrect translation and different properties in both treatys. No one besides the Maori's should make descisions like these as Aotearoa is our people's land, and not the intruders of Pakeha's. Our people's lands were stolen and confiscated, striping our rights out of our own hands like it was the correct thing to do. Our ancestors were suppressed into speaking English and being told to not speak Te Reo Maori. Shamed for our culture, and taught to know and be better than our true identities.

It is frustrating for us to rightfully connect to our past and our language, only for it to be attempted to be ripped right out of our hands all over again. It will not happen as a new generation is here and rather stubborn to just let the new government take over Aotearoa. We will protest, we will fight, we will claim our rights, and we will continue speaking Te Reo Maori.
